Responsibilities
As a lead construction foreman, you will be responsible for leading the team to build out our customer’s designed project. This individual will be the main point of contact for the client while on-site as well as managing the construction team. You will be responsible for organizing and bringing equipment that will be needed on the job.
Standards of Performance
- Must have the knowledge and skills to perform tasks better than the workers on the crew
- Set an example by your actions and work ethic and work to earn the respect of the crew
- Document all jobsite injuries and report them to the office immediately
- Good at problem solving and figures out efficient solutions that are high quality yet cost effective
- Keep company equipment in good working condition with daily and weekly maintenance including company vehicles
- Keep track of inventories of materials on the job
- Help the organization increase profits and ways to save costs using weekly goals
- Delegate jobs appropriately to the crew
- Review timecards before submission
- Be responsible for yourself and your crew’s actions while on the job and representing the organization. Be professional and set a positive example
- Use constructive criticism not negative feedback when working with the crew and always do so in private
- Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and any communications should involve management, so things are not overpromised or under delivered
- Safety is top priority so be sure to have all the appropriate safety equipment and first aid kits
- Always show honesty and integrity while also managing the time of the project and working to achieve things in a timely manner.
Licenses & Certifications
Valid driver’s license and the ability to commute.
